Make a meaningful difference for our customers every day as a Customer Representative at Nationwide. The role is permanent, full‑time (35 hours a week, Monday to Saturday) at the Wellington, Somerset branch which is closed to the public on Fridays. You will support customers in person, on the phone and online, managing day‑to‑day transactions and guiding them to suitable banking products. Applicants must be within a 45‑minute commute of the branch. Salary starts at £26,500 from 1 July 2026, with a range of benefits listed below.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers, understand their needs and offer trusted, friendly help with their banking.
- Handle a variety of transactions and queries accurately, keeping customer safety, security and fairness front of mind.
- Guide customers to suitable banking products and services that help them manage their money.
- Work closely with colleagues in a busy branch environment, supporting each other to deliver excellent service even at peak times.
- Follow processes, spot potential issues and raise escalations where necessary to protect customers and the bank.
