At the heart of Nationwide’s Retail Products portfolio lies the Core Banking Engineering team — the powerhouse behind the banking and savings products our members rely on every day. This team also fuels the engine for critical internal services like payments processing, operations, accounting, and financial accounting all while keeping our technology stack fresh, modern, and future-ready.
We’re on the lookout for a visionary Lead Engineer with deep expertise in the SAP Fioneer Banking ecosystem, especially in Banking Technical (ABAP Ecosystem) and Data Migration. Nationwide is undergoing a bold transformation, consolidating our systems into a unified SAP-based ecosystem while simultaneously modernising our stack to SAP S/4 Transactional Banking. You’ll lead a diverse, talented engineering team that’s simplifying and reimagining the core banking technology landscape. Your leadership will be instrumental in unlocking our ability to deliver new products at speed - a cornerstone of our business strategy.
