The purpose of our team is to support the creative teams within the squads with achieving personalised communications that are impactful, compelling, and meaningful to our customers to ensure we are driving value in everything we do.
As a Marketing Consultant in the Creative Centre of Excellence, you will play a key role in supporting squads with the delivery of best-in-class creativity through accurate processes and delivery of training and development, especially in a world of fast-paced change. You’ll need to be a strong collaborator and be able to manage relationships with internal stakeholders and partners. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in an environment of process and governance, whilst also being able to draw on your creative flair, then we want to hear from you.
We are happy to consider flexible working approaches to help you perform at your best. The working hours (per week) for this role can be between 21 and 28 hours. For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our Swindon or Bournemouth office.
If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works. Nationwide is committed to the redeployment of our employees impacted by change, as such applications for redeployment candidates will be prioritised in this recruitment process.

You will support the squads by ensuring processes and guidance are accurate and relevant, helping ensure our risk and controls remain in a strong position. You’ll also support communicating any changes to ways of working and help with the delivery of onboarding support and training.
You will work collaboratively across a large team, so stakeholder management and influencing skills will be essential and you’ll have a keen eye, spotting opportunities for improvement, and be adept at listening to feedback from squads and being able to proactively identify solutions.
