The predicted salary is between 32800 - 32800 £ per year.

You’ll be responsible for making sure the customer experience in your branch is the best on the high street. Your leadership skills and keen commercial mind will get the best results from your team. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 35 hours per week (Monday to Saturday). You will also need to work 5 out of 9 Saturdays at our nearby branch in Newport.

Salary: From 1 July 2026 the minimum salary for this role will be £32,800.

Training will be based virtually in branch, with the first three weeks critical to your success. No holiday may be taken during that period.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage the branch floor and ensure your team is fully trained and performing at their best.
  • Handle a high level of customer expectations and maintain in-depth knowledge of all products and services.
  • Create and implement the branch’s business plan.
  • Stay organized and work quickly while delivering excellent service.
  • Use the bank’s computer systems and processes (training provided).

About you:

  • Experience managing people and working in a busy retail environment.
  • Strong commercial understanding and knowledge of financial regulations and processes.
  • Ability to monitor branch activity to identify opportunities and improve customer outcomes.
  • Resilient, versatile, and flexible with the capacity to prioritize effectively.
  • Previous branch manager experience in a retail environment is desirable.
