We have an exciting opportunity within the People Function Recruitment Delivery Team. As a Governance Risk & Controls Consultant you will play a crucial role in supporting our critical processes and controls related to recruitment, employment screening and maintaining compliance with the Recruitment Policy.
You will be responsible for overseeing a number of governance frameworks linked to the end-to-end recruitment process of all worker types. This will involve working with multiple stakeholders, suppliers and candidates.
As part of a wider team, you will work with others to push for better to ensure positive experiences for our customers whilst appropriately balancing any risk to Nationwide. You will play a key role in supporting colleagues in Procurement to agree pragmatic decisions on supplier personnel screening. Alongside involvement in broader governance activity relating to controls and assurance testing.

The working hours (per week) for this role can be between 28 and 35 hours.
