As part of our Finance and Treasury Value Stream, you'll be at the heart of designing and delivering technology solutions that enable our Finance function to operate efficiently, accurately, and with agility.
The E4 Lead Engineer for Finance Federated Engineering will provide strategic, technical and people leadership for Nationwide's Finance Data Lakehouse capability, a critical component of the Finance Data Modernisation programme.
The role is accountable for the engineering delivery, operation and continual evolution of the Finance Data Lakehouse platform, ensuring it delivers secure, scalable and resilient data products that support financial reporting, regulatory reporting, analytics and AI-driven decision making.
As the senior engineering leader for the platform, the role combines deep technical expertise with organisational leadership, overseeing a multidisciplinary team of permanent engineers and strategic suppliers.
The role will establish engineering standards, drive adoption of modern engineering practices, and ensure solutions are delivered in accordance with architecture principles, security requirements and regulatory controls.
