As a Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in providing a professional, efficient and highly skilled support service to our Senior Directors, Directors and Associate Directors, enabling the delivery of a simply brilliant customer experience. We are looking for proactive people who are ready to make a real difference to a successful and expanding team. This role is within the Premium Team, part of Business Banking Operations and is responsible for fulfilling onboarding, lending and administration requirements for our business customers. Operational hours are Monday to Friday 9am–5pm; flexibility across these hours is required. The position is a 9‑month secondment. Hybrid working is available. You will spend at least two days per week in the London office, or 40 % if part‑time. Regular collaboration events with the Glasgow or Edinburgh hubs will occur once a month.
Responsibilities
- Provide a highly skilled support service to Relationship and Business Development Directors.
- Prepare and maintain lending and securities documentation accurately.
- Prepare credit submissions and submit them to the Business Lending Platform.
- Handle day‑to‑day administration for customers and help achieve the best outcomes.
- Work with a high level of accuracy and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Experience working within Business Banking.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to build relationships internally and externally.
- Solid knowledge of banking policies, procedures, products, services and systems such as Business Lending Platform, Business Scenario, Sales and Illustrations, MEO, 3270.
- Commitment to high standards of work with outstanding accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong team player with a passion for customer service.
