The Junior Fees Analyst will support the Income & Reconciliation Manager and assist the Head of Fees & Income where required.
ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To maintain student records, update and process change requests in student record system.
- To reconcile and validate all partner remittance files, checking for completeness of income and identifying errors.
- Produce management information at all levels on demand and to an approved schedule for detailed analysis on income, payments, debts and fee generation and present to all levels as required.
- To maintain the cash forecast and adjust weekly for short and long-term projections by reviewing and maintaining data in various systems.
- To manage fee billing adjustments and reconcile fees charged per student.
- To check accuracy and detail of fee generation and reconcile to finance system.
- To maintain partner payment reconciliations and resolve any differences.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Able to undertake complex reconciliations with large volumes of data identifying errors and resolving queries.
- Able to work independently with high levels of attention to detail and able to prioritise and organise workload.
- Knowledge of student funding and regulations.
- Able to provide feedback and detailed information to all levels in a variety of ways.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders.
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels, working collaboratively to achieve joint goals and objectives.
- Some degree of computer literacy skills.
DESIRABLE SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with experience of advanced Excel operations.
