Business Operations Onboarding Support Officer

As a business operations onboarding support officer you will be responsible for supporting a range of activities that enable our customers to either apply for or progress for business current account and savings products, delivering simply brilliant experience at every point of the journey for our customers and ensuring whenever customers need support we provide this as quickly as possible.
This role is within the Business Banking Operations Onboarding team which is responsible for managing customer applications by ensuring all required documentation and due diligence is completed whilst also delivering a simply brilliant experience to ensure our customers have the best possible onboarding experience

For this job you'll be located at our nearest regional office or hub. There will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration and in some locations you’ll be expected to spend at least two days a week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, in the office. What you’ll be doing
Opening business current and savings accounts for customers as part of our customer journeys.
Managing inboxes to support customers through both telephone and email and ensuring information returned is passed to the associate managing the application to open the account as soon as possible.
Reviewing returned customer paperwork to ensure this is correct, to enable the application to begin being worked by an associate.
Following a designated contact strategy to keep customers informed and provide a simply brilliant experience at every stage of the customer journey.
About you
Telephony or face to face experience of supporting customers
Experience undertaking due diligence for customers including Know Your Customer and Know Your Business checks
Experience of managing multiple workstreams at one time
Experience and ownership of end-to-end customer journeys
Knowledge of our business banking processes and products
Experience with the Siebel system
Understanding of current account switch process
