We have identified an exciting opportunity to join our fast‑paced, member‑focused team. This role is a 12‑month secondment with flexible work hours ranging from 28 to 35 hours per week. You will be based at one of our Swindon, Northampton or Bournemouth offices and must spend at least two days per week in the office, while the rest of the time may be remote. Hybrid working is available wherever possible.
Salary: ÂŁ27,500 (minimum) from 1 July 2026.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Operations Team Manager in motivating and mentoring team members through daily interactions and training sessions.
- Promote teamwork and collaboration across the wider area.
- Coach and develop staff on role performance, risk management and quality monitoring standards.
- Support team members through the Route to Competency programme.
- Carry out routine processes in line with colleagues and contribute to cross‑functional projects that improve efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Full knowledge of all processes administered within the Mortgage Works New Business.
- Ability to identify issues, conduct root‑cause analysis, and provide coaching and feedback.
- Self‑motivated, able to thrive under pressure while maintaining accuracy and service standards.
- Good understanding of relevant policies and processes, demonstrating subject‑matter expertise.
- Confidence in building relationships with internal and external customers and delivering updates through excellent communication skills.
- History of prioritising workloads against SLAs.
- Strong time management skills.
