We are seeking a
Responsible Individual
to oversee our childrens residential service and support our Registered Manager in providing safe, nurturing, and high-quality care for young people. You will ensure the home operates in full compliance with
Ofsted regulations , maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding and care practice. Key Responsibilities:
Provide strong leadership and strategic oversight of the service.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Support the Registered Manager in achieving and maintaining a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating.
Promote a culture that prioritises the welfare, development, and outcomes of young people.
Manage governance, quality assurance, and staff development processes effectively.
Liaise with external agencies, local authorities, and families to ensure holistic support.
Requirements:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) .
Proven experience in a management or senior role within the childrens residential care sector.
Strong understanding of
Childrens Homes Regulations 2015
and
Quality Standards .
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A passion for improving the lives and outcomes of children and young people.
Full UK driving licence (preferred).
