About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team, working within the joinery and fit‑out sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is looking to develop their commercial skills while working on a variety of high‑quality projects. The successful candidate will support the commercial team across all stages of projects, from tender through to final account, with particular involvement in bespoke joinery and interior fit‑out works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with cost planning, budgeting, and cost control
  • Preparing and reviewing subcontractor packages and enquiries
  • Supporting tender submissions and pricing exercises
  • Measuring and valuing works on site and from drawings
  • Assisting with valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Liaising with project managers, site teams, and suppliers
  • Maintaining accurate commercial records and reports

About You

  • Degree or HNC / HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • 1-3 years experience in a Quantity Surveying role (ideally within joinery, fit‑out, or interiors)
  • Basic understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Good communication and organisational abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
  • Eagerness to learn and develop within the role
