About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team, working within the joinery and fit-out sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is looking to develop their commercial skills while working on a variety of high-quality projects. The successful candidate will support the commercial team across all stages of projects, from tender through to final account, with particular involvement in bespoke joinery and interior fit-out works.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with cost planning, budgeting, and cost control
- Preparing and reviewing subcontractor packages and enquiries
- Supporting tender submissions and pricing exercises
- Measuring and valuing works on site and from drawings
- Assisting with valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Liaising with project managers, site teams, and suppliers
- Maintaining accurate commercial records and reports
About You
- Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- 1-3 years experience in a Quantity Surveying role (ideally within joinery, fit-out, or interiors)
- Basic understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Good communication and organisational abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
- Eagerness to learn and develop within the role
