Location: Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria (Local Personnel only)

Shift: 4 x 10 days Monday β Thursday, 5 hours Friday

Role OverviewWe are currently recruiting for experienced Pipefitters to join a long-term project in Barrow-in-Furness. This is an excellent opportunity to secure 18 months β 2 years\β work on a major UK engineering/construction programme, with an immediate start available.
This role will involve the fabrication, installation and fitting of pipework systems in a highly regulated environment, working to a high standard of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Installation, fitting and assembly of pipework systems
Working from isometric drawings and engineering specifications
Pipe bending, fabrication and fitting using appropriate tools and equipment
Installation of pipe supports, brackets and associated components
Completing work to required tolerances and quality standards
Assisting with pressure testing / leak testing where required
Maintaining safe working practices at all times
Requirements
Time-served Pipefitter or relevant trade qualification / apprenticeship
Previous experience as a Pipefitter in an industrial / marine / heavy engineering environment
Must have CSCS Card and IPAF
Ability to work from drawings and isometrics
Strong health & safety awareness
Able to work independently and as part of a team
