Role Overview
We are currently seeking experienced Industrial Blasters for long-term work in Barrow-in-Furness. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled blasters looking for stable, ongoing work on a high-profile industrial project.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare steel surfaces to specified standards
- Operate blasting equipment safely and effectively
- Adhere to strict health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Work as part of a team to meet project deadlines
Shifts & Working Pattern
- 12 days on / 2 days off rotation (Dayshift)
Basic Hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
- Friday: 07:30 – 12:30
Requirements
- Valid TTP or ICATS certification
- Previous industrial blasting experience preferred
- Ability to provide relevant certificates and references
- Must meet security clearance requirements
