We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Estimator, Senior Electrical Estimator or M&E Estimator to join a leading Building Services Contractor delivering Healthcare, NHS, Hospital, Commercial, Industrial, and Education projects across the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator with experience in Electrical Building Services, M&E, MEP, and Electrical Installation projects to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of work. You will play a key role within the Pre-Construction team, preparing competitive tenders and cost plans for projects valued up to £5 million.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate Electrical Estimates, cost plans, and tender submissions for Building Services and M&E projects.
  • Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and tender documentation.
  • Complete detailed electrical take-offs and quantity measurements.
  • Obtain, analyse, and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
  • Prepare competitive pricing for Electrical Building Services and M&E projects.
  • Raise RFIs and liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, and supply chain partners.
  • Identify project risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions.
  • Support bid submissions, pre-construction activities, and project handovers.
  • Maintain accurate estimating records and pricing databases.
  • Work closely with operational and commercial teams throughout the tender process.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator, Senior Electrical Estimator, M&E Estimator, MEP Estimator, or Building Services Estimator.
  • Proven experience estimating and tendering Electrical Building Services, M&E, or MEP projects.
  • Experience within Healthcare, NHS, Hospital, Commercial, Industrial, or Education sectors.
  • Strong understanding of electrical installations, building services systems, and construction methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
  • Excellent commercial awareness, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in preparing competitive tenders and cost plans.
