Mechanical Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager (Building Services) North Birmingham £35,000 - £50,000 + Company Car/Allowance + Bonus Are you a Mechanical Supervisor, M&E Supervisor, Site Manager, Estimator, Design Engineer or Building Services Engineer looking to take the next step into Project Management? We are recruiting for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join a growing Building Services contractor delivering commercial, MOD and MOJ projects across the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to come off the tools or move from an Estimating or Design background into a more project-focused role. The successful Mechanical Project Engineer will support the delivery of Mechanical Building Services projects from tender through to completion, working closely with Project Managers and senior management. Key Responsibilities: * Manage Mechanical Building Services projects from tender to completion * Procure materials, labour and specialist subcontractors * Attend client, site and project meetings * Monitor project programmes, costs and budgets * Coordinate site activities and ensure projects are delivered on time Requirements: * Experience within Mechanical Building Services or M&E * Background as a Mechanical Supervisor, M&E Supervisor, Site Manager, Estimator, Design Engineer, Project Engineer or similar * Strong communication and organisational skills * Full UK driving licence * Ability to obtain DBS and BPSS clearance Package: * £40,000 - £50,000 salary * Company car or car allowance * Pension * Sick Pay * Free Parking Applications are welcomed from candidates at all levels of experience.
