A well-established Building Services contractor is expanding and looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager to join their team in Cannock. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work across high-value Schools, University, and Healthcare projects in the Midlands.
As Mechanical Project Manager, you will take ownership of project delivery from pre-contract through to final account, managing multiple projects valued up to £5 million. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing full Mechanical Package
- Attending client and internal meetings across all project stages – pre-contract, progress, commissioning, and post-contract
- Managing multiple live projects simultaneously, up to £5M in value
- Assisting with design and leading the procurement process
- Supporting surveying activities and overseeing installation and commissioning
- Managing Health & Safety compliance across sites
- Overseeing site engineering staff, supervisors, and subcontractors
- Reviewing and interpreting Main and Sub-Contract documentation
- Assisting with finalising project accounts
About You:
- Proven background in the Construction industry as a Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Contract Manager, Mechanical Project Engineer, or Mechanical Contract Engineer
- ONC/HNC/HND qualification in Building Services (desirable)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Solid understanding of contract documentation and commercial processes
