About the Company
An established Midlands-based M&E contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Supervisor to join their growing team. The company delivers mechanical and electrical design, installation, and maintenance services across sectors including healthcare, education, offices, retail, and leisure.
Role Overview
As the M&E Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of site activities to ensure high-quality, safe, and timely project delivery. Projects will include a mix of mechanical, electrical, and building services installations across a variety of environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical works and oversee additional trades such as electrical or builders works when required
- Ensure all work meets specification and quality standards through regular inspections
- Manage site operations in line with the company's Health & Safety plan
- Supervise all site personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and visitors
- Conduct site inductions and ensure ongoing compliance with safety regulations
- Monitor and report on the progress of works in accordance with project programmes
- Raise material requisitions in advance to maintain progress schedules
- Control and monitor all plant, tools, and materials on site
- Inspect and ensure the quality of completed works, directing rectification where necessary
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Supervisor, Electrical Site Supervisor, M&E Supervisor, Site Manager, or similar role within the building services or construction sector
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, heating, etc.)
- Ability to coordinate multiple trades including electrical and builders works
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Willingness to travel nationwide as required
- Must be able to complete DBS and BPSS security vetting (arranged by company)
