The Opportunity

We are seeking to recruit outstanding English Lecturers who have experience in the delivery of GCSE and Functional Skills English curricula. Candidates will have a proven track record of excellent teaching that inspires and engages learners, with a keen desire to share knowledge, take part in professional development and collaborate with colleagues to improve the learner experience. Candidates will hold a relevant teaching qualification and an English specialism or be willing to work towards these.

What you will do?

The persons appointed will be responsible for the planning and delivery of GCSE English and Functional Skills English curricula, which lead to high levels of achievement and positive progress.

These are permanent, full-time and part-time posts working up to 37 hours per week. Regional travel may be required as part of the role; therefore, use of your own transport, a current valid driving license and business insurance is essential. The starting salary will depend upon an individual’s level of qualifications and experience.
