More about your role

Security Safeguards are highly motivated colleagues who believe in first-class customer satisfaction. We see this role as being very customer-focused with a friendly and welcoming approach. This role is part of our mantra of ‘bringing places to life’. Our security safeguard team will put our people first, ensuring that students and guests feel welcome and safe at their halls of residence. Your role will involve carrying out student accommodation checks, responding to calls from students, and taking part in regular patrols on campus. This is a casual role, and hours will be on an ad-hoc basis.

More about you

It is essential to hold a current SIA licence and to have experience in a similar role. In addition, a valid driver’s licence is required. You will be a confident communicator and enjoy working in a customer-focused role, ensuring the safety of our students is at the forefront of your mind. The ideal applicant will be an approachable team member to students, colleagues, and the university team, dealing with any issues or unusual circumstances that occur.
