We are recruiting for a Stock & Systems Warehouse Operative to join a busy logistics operation.
This is primarily a systems, stock administration and inventory control role within a warehouse environment, rather than a traditional picking and packing position.
A large part of your day will involve working on SAP/WMS and PC-based systems, accurately receiving, updating, launching and despatching stock and materials. You will also work within the warehouse to check stock, investigate discrepancies and ensure physical inventory matches system records.
The Role Key responsibilities will include:
Stock and inventory control
Updating stock movements accurately on SAP/WMS
Receiving, launching and despatching materials on the system
Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies
Maintaining accurate system and inventory records
Using SAP and Microsoft Office throughout the working day
Liaising with customers and internal departments
Checking materials at various locations throughout the warehouse
Moving materials using pallet trucks when required
Supporting general warehouse activities where necessary
What We're Looking For We are particularly interested in applicants with experience in:
SAP, WMS or similar warehouse management systems
Stock control / inventory administration
Warehouse or logistics administration
Goods in / goods out systems
Computerised stock management
Microsoft Office
Data entry and maintaining accurate system records
You must have a good level of computer literacy and excellent attention to detail.
This is also a customer-facing position, so you should be confident communicating with customers, colleagues and other departments.
A valid Counterbalance Forklift licence would be extremely beneficial, although it is not essential.
Gantry crane experience would also be advantageous, but training can be provided.
Hours 40 hours per week, Wednesday to Saturday.
