The Role

We're recruiting an experienced LGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client based in the DE14 area of Burton-on-Trent. This is a night-shift role running collections from Watford and deliveries/unloads into Swadlincote, Monday to Friday. This is an immediate start position, initially covering 34 weeks, with a genuine opportunity to move to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

Shift Pattern

  • Monday to Friday 18:00 - 03:00
  • 5 guaranteed nights per week
  • 45 hours guaranteed pay weekly

What You'll Be Doing

  • Collecting loads from Watford
  • Delivering and unloading at Swadlincote
  • Completing all routes safely and on schedule
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks in line with company procedures

What We're Looking For

  • Valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Maximum 6 penalty points no DD, DR, or CD codes
  • Able to pass a basic DBS check
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working nights
  • Previous LGV driving experience preferred
