Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Sortation Team Leader to join their growing operation in Sevenoaks. The Role
Reporting into the Operations Management team, you will be responsible for leading a busy warehouse and sortation operation, ensuring productivity, quality and service standards are achieved consistently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and motivating a warehouse and sortation team within a fast-paced environment
- Managing workflow and daily operational priorities
- Ensuring parcels and consignments are sorted accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and housekeeping
- Monitoring team performance and productivity
- Supporting and developing team members through effective leadership
- Leading by example and promoting a positive working culture
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures at all times
Hours
Monday to Friday Night shifts Typical hours 21:00 - 06:00 40 hours per week
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Warehouse Team Leader, Shift Leader or Supervisory role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Experience working within warehouse, logistics, sortation or parcel operations
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-moving environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Ability to lead from the front and maintain high operational standards
