The Role
We're recruiting an experienced LGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client based in the DE14 area of Burton-on-Trent. This is a night-shift role running collections from Watford and deliveries/unloads into Swadlincote, Monday to Friday.
This is an immediate start position, initially covering 34 weeks, with a genuine opportunity to move to a permanent contract for the right candidate.
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- 18:00 - 03:00
- 5 guaranteed nights per week
- 45 hours guaranteed pay weekly
What You'll Be Doing
- Collecting loads from Watford
- Delivering and unloading at Swadlincote
- Completing all routes safely and on schedule
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks in line with company procedures
What We're Looking For
- Valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Maximum 6 penalty points - no DD, DR, or CD codes
- Able to pass a basic DBS check
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working nights
- Previous LGV driving experience preferred
