The Role
We are recruiting reliable Yard Operatives and warehouse loading operatives to join a busy logistics site based in the Woodlands area of Doncaster. This is a hands-on role involving loading and unloading goods, general yard duties, baling materials, and maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
Main duties include:
- Loading and unloading vehicles (very manual work)
- Baling cardboard, plastics and other recyclable materials
- Keeping the yard clean, organised and hazard-free
- General yard labouring and manual handling tasks
- Supporting loading/unloading when required
- Working safely and following site procedures
Requirements
- Previous yard, warehouse, loading and unloading, labouring or outdoor work experience preferred
- Physically fit and comfortable working in warehouse and outdoor environments
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Good timekeeping and reliability essential
- Safety-aware and willing to use PPE when required
