Positions: 1 x full-time 40 hours per week
Derventio Housing Trust is at the forefront of supported housing solutions. As part of the team, you will make a tangible difference to people’s lives. Playing a key role in the support and resettlement of people, covering a wide variety of tasks that contribute to fixing broken lives.

Responsibilities
- As part of the team, you will make a tangible difference to people’s lives. Playing a key role in the support and resettlement of people, covering a wide variety of tasks that contribute to fixing broken lives.
- The tasks that form a large part of this role require exceptional attention to detail, particularly when completing property inspections, and the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
Qualifications and attributes
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal calmly with people who may present with challenging behaviour.
- The ability to problem solve and learn basic maintenance-related tasks to understand what issues may arise within the property environment, and to answer property maintenance queries from residents.
- Understanding of homelessness and belief that people can be successful in society despite the odds, with a supportive and caring yet calm, professional and flexible attitude.
Other information and benefits

- 28 days holiday including bank holidays, increasing to 33 at one year’s service, and additional service increments
- Remuneration packages commensurate with level of experience
- 8% contributory pension
- Death in service and critical illness cover after qualifying period
You must be prepared to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
A valid driving licence and use of a vehicle for work purposes is essential
