The Role Lean Manufacturing Engineer
You Will
- Identify and eliminate waste within production processes.
- Drive continuous improvement and improve efficiency across UK sites.
- Enhance operational performance through the application of Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Apply practical lean tools including 5S, 7 Wastes, Kaizen, Time & Motion studies, Root Cause Analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams).
- Engage with operations teams to implement improvements on the shop floor.
- Work independently, using initiative and strong analytical skills to deliver measurable improvements.

Essential Criteria
- Graduate Engineer with at least 2+ years experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean principles and methodologies.
- Hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.
- Proven experience applying lean tools and techniques in a practical setting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload independently.
- Flexibility to travel across multiple UK manufacturing sites.
Location
Based near Middlewich, Cheshire or Grantham, Nottinghamshirewith travel required to other UK sites.
