Role Overview
We are recruiting a reliable Yard Operative to join a busy recycling and logistics site. This is a hands-on role involving general yard duties, baling materials, and maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
Responsibilities
- Baling cardboard, plastics and other recyclable materials
- Keeping the yard clean, organised and hazard-free
- General yard labouring and manual handling tasks
- Supporting loading/unloading when required
- Working safely and following site procedures
Qualifications
- Previous yard, warehouse, labouring or outdoor work experience preferred
- Physically fit and comfortable working in an outdoor environment
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Good time-keeping and reliability essential
- Safety-aware and willing to use PPE when required
