Overview
As a Travel Advisor at Kuoni you will engage customers in a personal, inspiring dialogue about travel, designing tailor‑made holidays that match their interests, taste and spend while upholding the highest quality of service.
You will also act as the post‑booking concierge, ensuring the entire customer journey remains seamless and memorable.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a personal service and inspire customers to book their dream holiday.
- Use Kuoni holiday products and recommended third‑party products to create the best travel experience for each customer.
- Act as the customer’s concierge, providing support and additional touch‑points before, during and after the journey.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with specialist brands and third‑party suppliers.
- Manage time effectively in a fast‑moving, omnichannel retail environment and work flexibly across selected shifts, evenings and weekends.
- Utilise booking systems efficiently, and adapt quickly to new systems as required.
- Participate in a 13‑week induction programme and ongoing coaching to develop sales and operational skills.
- Support the store’s social media and in‑house projects, if appointed.
- Assist colleagues in training and development activities within the store.
- Represent Kuoni as an ambassador at events and conferences.
Qualifications
- Passionate and enthusiastic about travel, with first‑hand experience of multiple long‑haul destinations.
- Self‑motivated and dedicated to building a repeat customer base.
- Proven experience thriving within a sales‑focused environment.
- Good knowledge of the travel industry and experience in selling and designing tailor‑made holidays, including third‑party products.
- Strong time‑management skills, adaptable and flexible to change in an omnichannel workplace.
- Experience using booking systems or the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Available to work 37 hours over 5 days, including evenings and weekends; Monday to Saturday 9:30am–6pm, with one full weekend off per month plus an additional weekend day.
