Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time, Hybrid - 3 days in the office per week (Monday – Friday)

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Website Assistant to help keep the CV Villas website accurate, engaging and running smoothly.

This is a hands-on digital role that’s ideal for someone who enjoys working methodically, following clear processes and using technology to get things right. You’ll work behind the scenes to make sure our website content is accurately uploaded, formatted and presented to a consistently high standard.

Using our Content Management System (CMS), you’ll update everything from villa and destination information to blogs, campaign pages and imagery, while carrying out website checks, preparing digital assets and supporting basic SEO activity.

You don’t need to be a website expert from day one. What matters most is that you’re digitally confident, highly organised, have a great eye for detail and are keen to learn.

What you'll be doing:

You’ll play an important part in maintaining the quality of the CV Villas website. Your responsibilities will include:

• Uploading and formatting website content using our CMS, including villa pages, destination content, blogs, campaign pages, images and videos.

• Checking accuracy and consistency, ensuring information is presented correctly and follows our agreed brand and formatting guidelines.

• Quality checking website pages, spotting formatting issues, broken links, typos, image display problems and checking how pages appear across devices.

• Preparing images and digital assets, including cropping, resizing, naming and compressing files ready for the website.

• Supporting SEO basics, such as page titles, meta descriptions, headings, alt text, internal links and URL structures.

• Completing routine website maintenance, including content updates, URL checks, redirects, testing and general website housekeeping.

• Working closely with colleagues across Product, Sales, Operations and Commercial Support to ensure villa and destination information is accurate and up to date.

• Keeping your knowledge of SEO, GEO, user experience and digital best practice developing as the digital landscape continues to evolve.

About you

You don’t necessarily need lots of previous website experience. We’re more interested in finding someone with the right mindset, attention to detail and enthusiasm to learn.

You’ll be someone who:

• Is technically minded and confident learning new digital systems and tools.

• Enjoys structure, routine and process-driven work.

• Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in getting things right.

• Is organised, reliable and able to manage multiple updates and deadlines.

• Is comfortable working with spreadsheets, digital systems or online tools.

• Has a basic understanding of how websites work and are structured.

• Can follow a brief carefully and check your own work for accuracy.

• Has good written communication skills.

• Is curious, open-minded and keen to develop your digital knowledge.

• Brings an adaptable, welcoming, supportive and enthusiastic approach to the team.

Even better if you have...

It would be great if you already have some experience or knowledge of:

• Content Management Systems (CMS).

• Basic SEO, including metadata, headings, internal linking and image alt text.

• Resizing, cropping or compressing images.

• Google Analytics, Search Console or other website reporting tools.

• GEO, AI search or developments in digital discovery.

• Travel, tourism or luxury customer experiences.
