As a Housing Customer Support Apprentice, you will be in a permanent role and supported to attain accredited qualifications. You will be supported to develop skills and gain experience to prepare you for a career in housing. You will be assigned to gain on-the-job experience in the delivery of frontline housing services to both tenants and customers seeking housing solutions. Your programme will include working out in the communities we serve and participating in shared learning activities. To contribute to the provision of a modern, professional and responsive service to support NIHE business delivery and our vision and values.

Responsibilities

  • Duties will vary; they will be in line with the detailed requirements of assigned job postings.
  • Understanding the needs of tenants and customers.
  • Answering customer queries and supporting frontline housing service teams.
  • Under the direction of Line Manager, provision of timely and accurate advice & assistance to customers within the assigned job posting.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Achieved a minimum of five GCSE qualifications grade C, including English & Mathematics OR equivalent qualifications.
  • Possess a current driving licence or have access to a form of transport that enables them to meet the requirements of the post in full including with reasonable travel timeframes.
  • Can demonstrate knowledge of a range of communication skills.
