We are looking for an experienced Barista to join our team at Starbucks Foyleside. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, as well as a strong knowledge of brewing techniques and coffee varieties. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking orders, preparing drinks, and providing excellent customer service. The Barista will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, as well as restocking supplies and ensuring that all equipment is in working order.

Schedule: 8 hour shift, Day shift, Flexitime, Monday to Friday, Night shift, Weekend availability.

As an Apprentice Barista you will be completing a L2 Hospitality Team Member Apprenticeship Standard with Inspiro Learning. ApprenticeshipNI eligibility conditions apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Some customer service experience always comes in handy, although it is not essential, as we will support you with great training!
  • Prepare and serve coffee drinks according to customer specifications.
  • Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
  • Greet customers and take orders.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Ensure all products are stocked and ready for use.

  • Essential Skills: None required as full training will be provided.
  • Desirable Skills: Customer service skills.
