Your primary focus will be building and stewarding paid and organic relationships with skin professional influencers — predominantly Medi Professional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and high-profile advanced skin therapists, facialists, and make-up artists. Secondly, you will lead two signature community programmes: the Pro Collective and the Pro Community. The Pro Community is our broader network of Dermalogica Professional Skin Therapist accounts who actively post about Dermalogica on social media. The Pro Collective is our most elite tier — the strongest content creators and highest-impact accounts selected to drive Earned Media Value (EMV) and influence the wider professional community.

Reporting to the Communications Manager, you will work in close partnership with Trade, Education, PR, Creative, Social, Ecommerce, Paid Social, and Product teams to bring long-term professional community strategies and brand campaigns to life. This is a role built on relationships, credibility, and genuine expertise — with real scope, real budget, and real impact.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in influencer, creator, or earned marketing — ideally with a strong focus on trade, professional, or B2B2C audiences within beauty, skincare, or an adjacent wellness or clinical sector.
  • A proven track record of building and nurturing meaningful influencer or KOL relationships — not just transactional campaigns — with measurable impact on brand advocacy, credibility, and community growth.
  • Demonstrated team leadership and development experience, ideally 3+ years managing direct reports.
  • Strong understanding of the UK professional skin and aesthetics landscape — including key voices, clinics, and communities across Medi Professional, advanced skin therapy, and make-up artistry.
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen — able to connect professional influencer activity to brand authority, trade engagement, and broader business performance.
  • Excellent project management skills, including timeline ownership and budget management.
  • Proven experience managing external agency and vendor partnerships.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the confidence to present to and influence senior stakeholders.
  • In-depth platform knowledge across all major influencer channels, with a particular focus on Instagram and TikTok.
