Retail Skin Sales Associate
Salary and commission: £14.40 per hr plus uncapped commission 1%

A Dermalogica Retail Skin Sales Associate is at the true heart of where these results happen in our Belfast store. Based on the shop floor, you are responsible for encompassing our mission of empowering and educating all our customers to achieve their best skin possible. You will demonstrate an exceptional level of customer service and combine this with a very personalised and educational approach to all the conversations you will have.
Responsibilities
- As a Retail Skin Sales Associate, you will take your customer through a journey, including advising, listening, and connecting with them at every touch point. You will wow our customers with a personalized experience and enable them to fall in love with their skin care journey.
- Implementing CLEAR, our customer journey retail tool, ensuring each customer receives a skin care programme comprising both treatment and homecare. You will create a partnership by sharing your treatment plan with your customer, educate and link recommended homecare throughout.
- You will form a partnership with your customer. With your professional expertise and products combined with their homecare commitments, your customer should feel confident that they will achieve their healthiest skin ever.
- Own monthly targets for the location, including both individual and location targets, and keep abreast of daily goals and achievements.
- Cover counter duties which include Speed Mapping to understand client needs and concerns, show your expertise, offer education, and empower the customer to be knowledgeable about their own skin.
- Maintain the work areas in a professional manner including stocking shelves, cleaning the skin bar and product pool, and replenishing products while adhering to the Clean Touch policy.
Qualifications
- You will ideally have some experience as a Sales Associate, preferably in a fast-paced Retail, Beauty, or FMCG environment, but this is not essential.
- A confident people person that customers will love to engage with.
- You will be an extrovert, outgoing, proactive and a creative thinker who can create theatre at the counter to inspire customers.
- Above all, you will have a passion for the retail environment and skin health and use this passion to inspire others.
