What is a Play Support Assistant? Our wellbeing team provide unique, individualised play opportunities and experiences for our children and young people staying at the hospice, out in the community, or within a child's own home. Capturing special moments, giving our families beautiful memories, through photographs, artwork and creative fun. To ensure this service runs smoothly they need a committed volunteer to clean and help organise our toys and equipment. Ensuring everything is just at hand and ready to use for our children and young people.
What's involved?
- Cleaning and organising all play cupboards
- Helping the team prepare materials for upcoming play activities
- Clean down all toys and equipment in line with cleaning guidelines
- Help to display children's artwork in designated areas
