Love a tidy space and want to make a real difference? Our Housekeeping Volunteers help keep Derian House sparkling clean and welcoming for the children, young people, and families who visit us every day.
What you’ll be doing:
- Cleaning communal areas, restrooms and offices: vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising
- Restocking toiletries and supplies where needed
- Emptying bins and helping with recycling
- Helping with laundry: washing, drying, folding and sorting
- Reporting any safety or maintenance issues to the team
- Supporting staff with occasional event set‑up and clean‑up
- Always following our health and safety guidance (including PPE when needed)
You’ll enjoy this role if you:
- Have a good eye for detail and high cleaning standards
- Can be on your feet and active for your shift (physical requirements can be adjusted based on volunteer capabilities)
- Are reliable and like to get stuck in
- Enjoy working with others in a friendly and supportive team

Time Commitment:
Weekly commitment of 4 hours (days/times agreed at interview), Monday to Saturday shifts available
