The predicted salary is between 15 - 15 £ per hour.

£13 - £15 per hour (Subject to experience and additional driving licence qualifications) (HGV)

We currently seek to recruit a full-time Yard Operative who will be based at our head office in Balby, Doncaster.

The successful candidate must have a valid UK driving licence, due to the nature of the role.

Assisting and providing support for the Yard Manager, general duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Preparing / cleaning and refuelling of plant machinery prior to site delivery.
  • Assisting the yard team with various tasks.
  • General housekeeping, ensuring the premises are always kept in good order.
  • Delivering and collecting of materials and supplies to construction sites.
  • Loading / Unloading of equipment and palleted materials using a forklift truck (Training provided)
  • Taking stock deliveries and storing them in the correct areas as directed.
  • Picking and preparing next day stock orders.
  • Completing weekly / monthly stock checks as requested.
