DSFS Ltd are seeking to recruit a successful candidate into the position of Finance Partner. The role will support the Financial Management Function, supporting and working closely with divisional and finance colleagues. Building good working relationships with colleagues will be important. You will be an integral member of Senior Finance team, working closely with divisional leadership teams and their divisional colleagues to provide a comprehensive range of specialist and expert financial advice, training and support to enable the delivery of services efficiently and economically, as well as ensuring the achievement of all company financial targets.

Work within a financial management team providing direct financial support to the group, ensuring full compliance with financial best practice.

Lead a financial management team providing direct financial support to the division, ensuring full compliance with financial best practice, specifically in relation to:

  • Budget setting and reporting
  • Forecasting of expenditure, activity, and income
  • Maximisation of income
  • Delivery of Transformation Programme savings
  • Business case development
  • Activity and capacity planning and service developments

Contribute to and influence the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the division, ensuring effective accounting and operational management systems are in place to facilitate financial governance and control. Analyse, interpret and communicate highly complex financial information to non-financial managers in a manner that is clear and effective to facilitate effective decision making and service development. Lead on identifying and disseminating the financial impact of business cases and developments. Take a lead role in the identification and development of divisional transformation programmes, monitoring their achievement and evaluating their successes to ensure they meet the strategic objectives of the trust in terms of financial and quality outcomes. Play a key leadership role within the organisation. As a member of the senior team contribute fully and effectively to the development and delivery of company strategies.
