Patient Caterer

We are seeking a Patient Caterer in the Patient Services Department of Chesterfield Royal Hospital. The role involves delivering a high standard of food and drink service to ward areas, ensuring kitchen and office cleanliness to Trust policy standards, and providing patient meals efficiently.

Hours of Work

15:00 hrs to 19:00 hrs, five days per week (20 hours per week). The contract is a 20‑hour per week, 10‑week rota which may include weekends and bank holidays or a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule with bank holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a high standard of food and drink service to ward areas at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
  • Ensure all kitchen areas and offices are cleaned efficiently and on time to required standards.
  • Serve patient meals efficiently to assure food quality and meet required specifications in line with Trust policy.
