We are looking for a Multi‑Skilled Tradesperson to join the Derbyshire Support and Facilities Services Ltd estates team to work within our mechanical team in the estates workshop. The workshop provides a maintenance service to Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and external clients. The post‑holder will be required to work on the tradesperson on‑call rota for which additional payments will be made on top of the stated salary. The post‑holder will also support the building and electrical workshops as required and within the capabilities of their skills.
Responsibilities
- Completing all planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks across plumbing, heating, and ventilation systems, ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements, HTMs, and relevant codes of practice.
- Undertaking significant system alterations, including major pipework modifications, installation of commercial valves, and the replacement of AHU coils and pump sets.
- Strong fault‑finding abilities on complex heating, domestic hot water, and ventilation systems, using the Building Management System where appropriate.
