Role Summary
To provide strategic workforce support and relevant interventions to Divisional and Corporate teams, ensuring a proactive and risk‑based approach to the management and effective delivery of workforce solutions. To engage and support the Divisional and Corporate teams in empowering leaders to make safe, consistent HR decisions to enable both Divisional and Trust objectives to be achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- The post holder will play a pivotal role in supporting a major project within one of the divisions, specifically focusing on the effective management of TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings [Protection of Employment]) processes.
- The role involves collaborating closely with divisional and corporate teams to coordinate and oversee all stages of the TUPE transfer, from initial planning through to implementation and post‑transfer support.
- The post holder will provide expert guidance and advice to managers and staff throughout the process, ensuring that all aspects of employment law and statutory requirements are adhered to, and that affected employees are properly consulted and supported.
- Additional responsibilities include preparing and maintaining relevant documentation, facilitating clear and timely communication, and ensuring that any risks associated with the transfer are identified and mitigated.
- By delivering a smooth and legally compliant TUPE process, the post holder will contribute to the achievement of divisional objectives and help maintain workforce stability during organisational change.
- The post holder will take the lead on specific projects and will deputise for the Divisional People Lead for TUPE in the post holder’s absence.
Work Arrangement
Although hybrid working is available, the role will require on‑site working when the service requires. There will be an expectation to be on site, may require travel to other sites, and there will be an element of remote working.
