Derbyshire Minds Craft and Coffee Club is a friendly, creative space where people can connect, craft, and take positive steps for their mental wellbeing. Working alongside our creative facilitator, you will support arts and crafts sessions for groups of up to 12 participants. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives through kindness, creativity, and connection.
Responsibilities:
- Support attendees in feeling welcome within the group and provide a safe space for them to talk about their feelings and experiences.
- Be an approachable, reassuring presence throughout the session.
- Help create a warm, friendly, and non-judgmental group for all attendees.
- Create opportunities and hold space for people to discuss what they are going through and potentially be emotionally supportive by being a good listener without attempting to 'fix' or advise.
- Be a positive ambassador for Derbyshire Mind.

We provide a range of community mental health and wellbeing services designed to support people with mental health problems, improve mental health and wellbeing, and promote better mental health and wellbeing for all throughout the population of Derby and Derbyshire.
