The Governing Board of Highfield Hall Primary School, Chesterfield is seeking to appoint an experienced and dynamic member of staff to Child and Family Support in the afternoons. This post is for 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 40 weeks per year.
The role involves supporting the office functions of the school, including dealing with enquiries from parents and managing attendance. Additionally, the role involves working with families to remove barriers so that children can reach their potential at school:
- Developing strategies to improve attendance
- Completing Early Help Assessments and related paperwork
- Providing families with parenting skills support
- Attending safeguarding meetings with families and Social Care
We are looking for someone who has a sense of humour and is willing to embrace all aspects of school life to join our wonderful team. Visits to the school are welcomed and encouraged.
