An exciting opportunity has arisen to join award-winning Derbyshire Catering Service. Are you passionate about food and enjoy working as part of a team? We are currently recruiting for a Relief Catering Assistant to work as a valued member of our dedicated kitchen team. You will be supporting the kitchen supervisor in all areas of the service at schools within the Derby, Ashbourne, Belper, Heanor and Langley Mill area. This may involve working at a production unit or at a servery unit.

Our Relief Catering Assistants are our point of contact with our hungry customers. Whilst serving meals to our customers, all team members help ensure that food hygiene and health & safety regulations are followed. We want to help make good lunchtime memories for our customers, so it is essential that you can demonstrate an attitude which is appropriate to the school environment.
Requirements
- A drivers licence with use of a car is desirable
- The ability to travel is essential to this post
- Successful completion of the NVQ food hygiene certificate will be required upon appointment
