We are looking for committed and enthusiastic team players to join our friendly, organised and highly supportive team at Brierley Park Medical Group. We are looking for individuals wishing to work 6 – 8 sessions. The vacancy is available immediately, although we can be flexible and are willing to wait for the right candidate such as those qualifying in August.
About the Practice
- Located just off Junction 28 of the M1 within easy reach of Nottingham, Derby and the Peak District.
- Very low home visiting rate due to local acute home visiting service.
- Well-established administration team using Workflow for incoming letters to reduce the workload burden for GPs.
- We are a well-established training practice with opportunities for teaching and taking part in the Phoenix Programme. Many of our existing partners were trainees at the practice.
- Partners are involved in ICB, education, research and primary care network. Special interests are encouraged and actively supported.
- BMA guidelines on CPD and safe working limits followed. Flexibility around surgery times and appointment times can be offered.
- Everyone takes their fair share of extended access working.
- There are career development opportunities available.
- Indemnity and full NHS Pension.
- 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave (pro-rata for part-time).
- You will have a dedicated GP mentor to help support you.
- Weekly clinical meetings for all GPs and open-door policy by all partners.
- We welcome specialist and outside interests with current in-house clinical specialties including minor surgery, joint injections, diabetes, women's health.
