We are a highly regarded GP training practice based in the city centre of Derby with a branch surgery based in Allestree. Through the hard work of our team, we achieved an Outstanding rating with CQC. We are a long-established training practice both with Medical Students and Registrars and have 4 trainers with one of our trainers working part-time as an Associate Postgraduate Dean and a GP Programme Director.

We have a dedicated, friendly and hardworking team comprising of 6 Partners, 2 Salaried GPs, 4 Practice nurses, 1 Health care Assistant, and a Pharmacy team. The management of the business is led by the Business Manager with excellent practice administration support from the Compliance Officer and a flurry of receptionists/admin staff. We are actively working with the PCN and have a close working relationship with our fellow PCN practices. We also work closely with the local District Nursing team, Health Visiting team, Local Care homes and have added support from an excellent Community Matron and an in-house Care Co-ordinator.

We offer a flexible environment to work in and believe in having an open and honest culture within the whole team. We are flexible in the number of sessions required and would consider multiple posts for the right candidates.

  • Full or Part-time sessions will be considered, ideally 3 full days minimum
  • Fixed Term contract – 1 Year, with the potential to extend.
  • 6 weeks holiday, 1 week study leave
