Have a Go sessions are open to all, and if you attend there is no obligation to apply to be a Firefighter in the future, but we'd love it if you do! Equally, you do not have to attend a Have a Go session to apply; it simply gives you an understanding of the role, recruitment process, and allows you to ask any questions you may have.
Please note: You MUST be at least 18 years of age at the start of the initial training course which is likely to start in Spring 2026. There is no upper age limit.
We will be running awareness sessions in August and September 2025 and once you have registered your interest you will be emailed a link to book your place.
