Your new company
One of the UK\'s leading tier-1 contractors within their growing Kent business now seek an experienced Senior QS to play a key role in delivering high-profile projects across the Southern Home Counties. With multiple major projects starting this year its a period of expansion and success within the business. Projects are typically 2 Stage education schemes in the £20 - 40 mill range with healthcare and some residential schemes supplementing the workload.
Your new role
You\'ll be working as a senior QS overseeing one large project as part of the larger site team. You\'ll be the go-to person for commercial strategy, commercial reporting, and team leadership working closely with the site team, commercial team, subcontractors, and other external stakeholders. You\'ll manage your own team and be fundamental to the short, medium and long-term commercial wellbeing of a large contract.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You\'ll have solid experience managing your own projects, ideally on two-stage schemes, and you\'ve spent time in main contracting-especially on Department for Education (DfE) jobs ranging from £10m to £40m. You\'ve studied commercial management (or something similar), hold a degree or HNC, and might even be RICS qualified. You\'re confident using commercial systems like COINS or Sphere, and above all, you\'re a team player who\'s passionate about delivering high-quality work and making a real impact.
