The Opportunity:
We\’re currently recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a fast-paced student accommodation project in Loughborough. The steel structure is already in place, and the focus is now shifting to internal works. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a specialist contractor known for delivering high-quality student accommodation schemes, both new builds and repurposed developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out for drainage systems, bathroom pods, and M&E installations
- Ensuring accuracy and quality in all setting out tasks
- Liaising with site management and subcontractors to ensure smooth coordination
- Maintaining site records and as-built drawings
- Supporting the project team in delivering works to programme and spec
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar setting out role
- Strong knowledge of drainage and M&E coordination
- CSCS card and relevant engineering qualifications
- Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
